Jeremy Clarkson looks into the real life of a farmer as he is faced with the challenges of running a successful farm and farm shop at his own farm, Diddly Squat Farm.

Season 4, Episode 01 – “Soloing”
Kaleb and Lisa are both away and Jeremy has been left to run the farm on his own; help is soon needed and the arrival of a new farmhand to ease the burden gives Jeremy space for some strategic thinking.

Season 4, Episode 02 – “Pubbing”
Jeremy finds a promising pub; Diddly Squat’s new arrival teaches him a thing or two about farming; the ageing Lamborghini has competition.

Season 4, Episode 03 – “Crawling”
Relentless wet weather puts the crop planting in crisis, Kaleb returns to find another farmer on his patch; his pub search continues, in an effort to dry the soil Jeremy gets to grips with a new piece of kit.

Season 4, Episode 04 – “Cottaging”
There’s a new arrival at the farm and its first job is to pick up where the creaking old Lamborghini left off, getting the ploughing finished, so the durum wheat can be planted.

Season 4, Episode 05 – “Endgaming”
It’s the middle of May, the livestock are heading out to graze; while the goats are going high-tech, the cows are getting a bull-friend; If only progress with the pub was as positive.

Season 4, Episode 06 – “Splurging”
With his pub plan finally taking shape, Jeremy goes to his first cattle auction to buy beef. However, when he calls in experts to help with the pub, Jeremy discovers that he is still going to have to spend a lot of money.

Season 4, Episode 07 – “Hurrying”
A diary cock-up turns the pub into a pressure cooker, and the start of the harvest runs Jeremy ragged. Team Diddly Squat will have to dig deep to get both across the line.

Season 4, Episode 08 – “Landlording”
It’s bank holiday weekend and the pub opens for business. Whether it stays open for business is another matter. Back at Diddly Squat, the harvest results come in and the curtain falls on another farming year.
